Whilst living in Europe during my teenage years, I grew fascination with antique markets. Sifting through boxes filled with photographs I began thinking about the historical importance of art, and family photo albums being historical archives.
I thought about the photographs lost in natural disasters, the ones misplaced and never found, those who did not grow up with many family photos, and those who did not wish to keep them due to the memories and weight they carried.
My ode to the photographs left behind, I could not afford to save you all; though I wish I could.
